Torridon Sailing Tours

The sailing tours take place on the protected waters of Loch Torridon.  We can also sail into the more open waters of the Minch between the mainland and the Outer Hebrides.  From here we can enjoy views of the Scottish islands of Rona, Raasay, Skye and beyond.  Tours can be adapted according to the guests' preferences. Prices for your privately chartered tour start at £70 per person (based on four sharing for a half day).  The yacht may also be chartered for a full day tour which includes lunch (£140 per person based on four sharing). 

At the start of the tour, guests will be collected from the pontoon in Shieldaig Village.  You will need to bring clean, soft shoes and several layers of clothes, as its always cool out on the water.  After a short safety briefing, we will motor into the Loch and if the wind permits, hoist the sails.  Once we are sailing, the engine will be turned off so we can enjoy the peace, with just the sound of wind and water for company.  After cruising for the planned time (usually around three hours for a half day tour), we will return to Shieldaig where you can disembark to enjoy lunch or supper at one of the local cafes or restaurants.  See our FAQs for further information.
